UA-cam, free to start, but ive spent a lot on memory devices, camera etc recently, still not monetized...playing the long game
"made all my money telling people how to make money" lol
If all these ventures were that profitable the person advertising it would just be doing it rather than desperately trying to recruit people onto a course to learn whatever it is.
people always have opinons. Why are you watching a tablet review if youre not buying one ? 😂 Also, kids use these as communication devices. my son has autism and its been invaluable to us since he was very young.
Why don't you demo it? What does it sounds like? Who reads the stories? What's the radio like? How is the sound quality?
Great video - new subscriber!
great video thank you very much what do you think about buying ready made website businesses is that a scam too?
It really depends. I know of people who buy websites, work on them and manage to make money from it, so it's not a scam but it's not something that's easy. The big red flag for me when it comes to any side hustle or business is when it's sold as "easy".
@@TheMummyBubble thanks for reply something for me to consider. glad i found your channel thanks
I use google calendar for important notes. I still have an iPhone 11. I only buy clothes when I need it. I buy a few recycle paper towels. I use bounty for our dog spills. I cut up my own fruit. I don’t have more than 2 subscription services either. I menu plan & try not to eat out. We do this only twice per month. I go to Costco once a month. I buy some produce bi-weekly. I try to avoid grocery shopping too often.During the pandemic I learned how to cut my own hair & do my own tint. I get my hair done at the hairdresser twice per year. I never do my nails. I keep them clean & short. I don’t feel like wasting money every 3 weeks. I only use dryer sheets. I never use liquid fabric softener or scent boosters. I use vinegar. I haven’t bought magazines in years. I use filtered water from home. I try not to buy drinks on the road.
My son got one
oh finally someone who tells the truth about the passive income the lies and the scam and scammers are out more than ever. effort is need and you will need to work hard no matter what you choose to do.
Yes 100%, everything that is a business (and a good side hustle is ultimately a business) will need some work to keep it going.
I make £2,400 a month true passive income. My £500k stocks and shares ISA. 🙂
This is the only truly passive income. Consistent saving and putting the money somewhere smart
Omg the irony of that entire AI conversion in the comments on this video 😂
By the way thank you for this video! So spot on
Thanks so much! The bots are always out in force 😒
I know nothing about trading /investment and l'm keen on getting started. What are some strategies to get started with?
As a beginner, it's essential for you to have a mentor to keep you accountable. I'm guided by a widely known crypto consultant
Mrs Mary Patricia Hester
This is correct, Mary's strategy has normalized winning trades for me also, and it's a huge milestone for me looking back to how it all started..
Isn't she the same Mrs Mary Patricia Hester neighbors are talking about, she has to be a perfect expect for people to talk about her so well.
Her platform is wonderful, and her services are exceptional
There are no Banks in the Cemetery so the best approach is to Save/Invest but also enjoy Life because it’s the only one People have. Planning what Savings People have in 10/20/30 Years is useless. Cancer grows faster than Interest and the older People get the more likely of Cancer. Worry about Money but worry more about living.
I think I can be frugal enough and put some cheap make up/skincare on and dye my hair with a mix of henna, because I like to see me put together even if I work alone. Very important to me is working out almost everyday, 5min arms, 5min standing abs , 5min legs...there are plenty of videos here on UA-cam that over the years made my body stronger, toned muscles prevent from bones injuries, and doing it make me feel better both phisically and mentally... Cooking for several meals, so I dont have to think about whats for dinner...making my own bread and yogurth...I save plants from the bins at the cemetary😅, thean I watering them with the water I used to wash veggies.. I soak chickpeas/brown rice with the water from draining pasta....I make laundries on Sundays when the energy is cheaper...I have reaserched quite a lot were to put a Little extra money to beat the inflation but so far I dont have a clue...
Definitely stop buying/ sending cards.
We are blessed to have a discount grocery near us, where I find awesome deals on liquidation grocery items! 🙏🏼
Without a doubt, this year will be worse than the previous one. I lost a lot of money last year as a result of bad investment choices that I would not have made if I hadn't been so worried about my portfolio. I kept investing, but I wasn't sure if I should start paying for a house. My jobs were eventually sold, and the house needed more maintenance than I had thought. I don't know how much longer I can carry on like this.
We've all made mistakes at some point. You should consider financial planning
True. My portfolio was diversified across several markets with the help of a financial planner, and were able to achieve over a million in net profit among high dividend yield equities, ETFs, and bonds. It is vital that you have a variety of exposure, including in firms that are currently generating cash flows.
Do you mind sharing your financial planner?
Leah Foster Alderman You are most likely to find more info when you look her up
Scammers 😂 All a big scam!
I don't cut or color my hair (it's gray). I don't wear makeup. I don't color my nails. I use basic soap and water for washing. I wear the same clothes for years. My husband says I'm beautiful and that's the only opinion I care about. One of the blessings of aging. You stop caring about the opinions of others. :-)
If your skin products don’t contain retinol, you may as well put margarine on your face ( don’t do this please😂) I use retinol squalane with my face cream daily and it lasts for absolutely ages, so it’s very cost effective. You can also make a lovely homemade skin exfoliater using a little coconut oil and used coffee grounds, massage gently and rinse with warm water. Avoid eye area!
The only time I’ve had bottled water was if it was given to me at a hotel etc. I use a water filter jug instead in my fridge then fill my cooler cup with a sip lid before I go out. It stays cold for hours unlike a one use plastic bottle.
Make an agreement with family members that you either do not need to buy expensive presents for birthdays, Christmas etc. that probably are unwanted or unused ( set a spend limit) ….or alternatively don’t buy presents at all. Bring some food or drinks along and have a picnic. Time spent with loved ones and friends is way more valuable than a costly present. Some elderly people can’t afford to buy presents for all their kids and lots of grandkids, set them free from the burden.
I love fresh herbs and edible flowers for salads but they cost a small fortune nowadays. I added a window box outside my dining room window and filled it with herbs and nasturtiums ( from seed) and other edible plants with flowers like Tulbaghia. It looks beautiful and the more you snip the herbs, the bushier they seem to grow. Nasturtium leaves are delicious and peppery on a sandwich. You can also cut the herbs and dry them out to use for winter time. Some herbs like mint will spread and grow back year after year.
I have a little battery operated motion detecting light in my guest loo. If you have a family that always forgets to turn the light off it’s perfect & will save you over time. The batteries last for ages and if you have rechargeable ones even better.
I know everyone unfortunately can’t afford to do this, but I recently put solar panels on my roof. My energy supplier had a deal going so I took advantage of it. It took two days to install and around a week for the scaffolding to come down. The newer panels and battery packs in my garage are very efficient and so far even without that much sun my electric bill has gone from around £170 a month to less than £50 so far. I will also be receiving a small payment for overflow power being sent back to the national grid. Not sure exactly how much yet, but that will also help recoup a little money each month from now on. I love checking the App to find out that I’ve not paid a penny for power used that day and the battery is 100 percent full. I get a lot more excited when the sun shines nowadays.😂
I am planning on installing a bidet to my toilet which will save me hundreds of pounds as it will cut back on purchasing lots of toilet paper each year. Better for my pocket the planet & also way more hygienic.
Bidets are 10000% worth the investment. Highly recommend
If it costs you more than 99p to get to the supermarket and back in your vehicle, then start ordering online. Ocado currently charges that for deliveries most days after 10pm onwards in my area. They price check with other stores and give you Vouchers to make up for it on your next shop if items are cheaper elsewhere. There is also the benefit of sticking to your list and not buying impulse buys at the stores. They also have online deals/offers. It saves me money and time.
Great video. We are all seeking for financial independence and a better way of life. This is not difficult to achieve with savvy investing, a frugal lifestyle, and cautious budgeting. I'm glad I learned early on to work hard for financial independence. As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor, My husband and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $1.7M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock.
People don't really know this, You need to create your own process, manage risk and stick to the plan, through thick or thin while also continuously learning from mistakes and improving.
I totally agree; I am 66 years old, recently retired, with approximately $1.2 million in external retirement funds. I am debt free and have very little money in retirement funds compared to the total value of my portfolio over the past three years. To be honest, I didn't do all this alone, but with the help of a financial advisor. Having one is currently the best way to trade in the stock market, especially for people nearing retirement.
@@ThomasChai05This is exactly how i wish to get my finances coordinated ahead or retirement. Can you recommend the financial advisor you used to get ahead?
There are a handful of experts in the field. I've experimented with a few over the past years, but I've stuck with “Gertrude Margaret Quinto” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look-her up.
Thanks for sharing, I just looked her up on the web and I would say she really has an impressive background in investing. I will write her an e-mail shortly.
I agree with using care with buying items like an air fryer to save money. I started by cutting the large ticket items like car and home insurance, food, clothing, electric, telephone and cable services. Then took a portion (10-20%) of that money to save more money. Make a list of items that would help. Then as I found them at yard/boot sales, Facebook marketplace or a retailer on sale/offer with a discounted gift to lower the price further I would purchase them. It’s like the snowball debt payment plan in reverse to constantly increase your savings in your budget. Additionally, as the return on savings decreased, the money was diverted to savings. Savings might be vacation, Christmas, birthdays, or bulk up the emergency funds, regular saving, retirement, college/trade school savings.
I have a little red notebook and in it I write down all the tried and true recipes that my family WILL eat. Nothing goes in there unless it’s family approved. 😊 Another money reducer we practice is line drying our clothes. (I understand line drying is normal in many countries outside the US and even in some places inside the US.) I live in the desert with harsh hot summers, so the weather does the work for us, saves us money, and makes our clothes smell like heat & sun. ☀️
Can you explain how you’d use a similar principle to grow an emergency fund? Thankyou 😊 x

I got these Nike shoes for £7, suspiciously cheap tbh, and it took the buyer less that 30mins to send it, noticed he only posted 2 pairs and the other one was sold or taking down… went back to check his page and it says “member blocked” really confused only because the shoes are extremely cheap for the price I bought them for, even though I haven’t received it yet, I’m really worried
I’m a Gen Z born in 2007 for your information. Everyone in this comment section saying: “thanks for this helpful info! It’s very informative and great for my child!” It’s great for your child to slumped over, half dead, staring at a screen? When I was younger, I spent all of my time outside, playing, WITH PEOPLE not just inside, staring at a screen for 10 hours a day. I might use my phone quite a lot as a teen, but I don’t use it quite as much as these baby’s do. Mind you, their minds, brains are still developing, const having blue light in their eyes, this destroys so much of their brain functioning and it makes them angry, lonely, depressed, and socially deprived. Yeah I get it might be easy to put a phone or tablet in front of their face for an hour so that the parents can get a rest, but they need ACTUAL social interaction, not digital, that’s not real. The conclusion is, stop giving your kids tablets, phones, any electronics until at least 7th-8th grade. That’s when I got mine, and it seems I’m not “addicted” to it as much as these children are. This is the generation I HAVE TO RAISE, the generation MY generation HAS TO RAISE. Stop being the dumbass adult you don’t think your being, cause you ARE.
I’m glad I had a childhood… of actually playtime.. OUTSIDE. WITH FRIENDS.
Take bus.
Frugal good.
Upcycling furniture and all other things is a great way to make extra money. I started doing it years ago and it helped us get a house deposit together
Period pants are amazing, my daughter uses them and I wish they'd existed when I was younger!
Te heating bills, get an energy audit done. It costs as much to start up your heating as to run it for 24 hrs. You're better off running it continuosly at 1 or 2 degrees lower.
Why would you be buying a dress or jeans for $50, surely as you are in the UK it would be £50?
Currency used isn’t relevant to the specific point I’m making. Also I deal a lot in dollars as most of my earnings come to me in dollars from my work online. And many viewers are in the US, however I will also make mentions in pounds. I hope it’s clear that regardless of what currency I speak in, the principles of the tips for saving money are the same.
Thank you. Really helpful. 😊
As someone who collects international cookbooks, its pretty obvious that there are standard recipes for basic dishes and baked goods. You cant reinvent the wheel.
I hear you about the coffee but would suggest a different approach. Coffee is $800 a yr. Buy a machine that makes your favorite coffee and then bank the savings. The machine ($400 or $250 used) will pay for itself within 6mo to a year and the $600 a yr savings afterwards. The savings in a 5% account for 10yrs is $7,749 and over 20yrs is $20,373. Always look for a way to reduce everyday expenses without sacrificing quality.
I had a work friend who would borrow $20 on the Friday before payday and repay it the day after payday. It got so I just kept the $20 in my work drawer. She was in her 40s with no savings. After a year I talked her into contributing to work retirement plan. The way it works is you contribute $25 a pay period (every 2 weeks). After about 3 months I noticed she had stopped borrowing the $20 each pay period, at 5 months she came to me and said did you notice I’m no longer borrowing the $20, I said yes with a smile. She said you were right about the retirement, I never noticed the difference and I have saved $250. I congratulated her. At 2 yrs she came to me and said, I have over $1,200 in my retirement, I’ve never saved that much money in my life, with a big smile. She told me she had decided to increase it. I told her little amounts really add up.
To Good To Go is a great app, but there is never anything local to me. The closest is 30 minutes away, and I just can't make it over during the pickup times. 😢
You talk a lot of sense, it's good, I'm listening
Glad it helps!
Thank you for taking the time to give such a comprehensive review of this service, I might give it a go even if only for the introductory first box price. I enjoyed so many of the hello fresh meals when i tried them a couple of years ago, but the cost got a little out of hand in comparison to my shop at lidl just as you mentioned. It's definitely worth it for the intro price though and a heap of new recipes to try and add to the family favourites ❤
Expensive car usually means expensive maintenance, replacement tires $2,000 vs mid cost car at $750. Oil changes can be 400% more. Insurance 🤦♀️. When you buy think or longevity and maintenance costs. My MIL who was notoriously frugal would buy a used car (2-3yr old) in excellent condition with a good longevity history. She would keep it 8-12 yrs. After about 4-5 yr. she would get it a new paint job in a different color. People would congratulate her on her new car. Since she kept the snide spotless it looked new to others and her. During that 8-12 yrs she would put aside money for a new to her car. She always paid cash at purchase time.
